Hundreds of recruitment opportunities for FPT University students in Japan Day

On this morning of July 18 at the Hoa Lac campus, on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Vietnam-Japan relationship, FPT University solemnly organized the event “Japan day – Fly high jobs” with the desire to bring a rich cultural experience and hundreds of recruitment opportunities for nearly 20 businesses for FPT students.

The event attracted nearly 1000 participants.

Regarding the business, there are CEOs of reputable and giant corporations such as FPT Software, Toshiba, Vntrip OTA, Vnext, VietIS, SmarOSC, VIJA Link, Alt Plus, etc.

“FPT has more than 100 students who have been working in Japan and are highly valued by entrepreneurs. Many students have become top IT specialists, especially in the field of cloud computing,” Mr. Ta Ngoc Cau- Director of FPT University spoke at the opening ceremony. “This event is a good opportunity for students to approach the business to find opportunities for career development. It also prompts a good relationship between Vietnam and Japan”.

“How to work in Japan” talk show was held at Azzan Coffee, FPT University- Hoa Lac campus.

Students had the opportunity to visit the enterprise booth, Japan culture booth, etc. Especially, there are also good opportunities to take part in direct interviews with businesses and attend a workshop called “How to work in Japan”.

During the “How to work in Japan” talk show, FPT students were given a chance to listen to the sharing about the working environment, working style, and the experience of interviewing in Japanese businesses.

“ FPT students are not only highly valued for their expertise but also very active and open. This is a good opportunity for us to find talents,” said Ms. Tran Viet Ha- Senior Human Resource Officer of Toshiba Software Development Company.

“I was very excited and look forward to this event because this is the chance to introduce Japanese culture to everyone. In addition, the event is a good opportunity for students to approach entrepreneurs to look for jobs in Japan,” Ngoc Lan- a student majoring in the Japanese Language said.
