Last week, students majoring in Information Technology at FPT University, Hanoi campus had a trip to visit and learn about FPT Software’s cultural environment and listen to an introduction about the OJT program. Internship program at FPT Software helps students find job opportunities for the upcoming internship period – Internship Summer 2023.
At the beginning of the program, the students had the opportunity to visit the working space and experience the corporate culture and long history of FPT Software (modern office with many special facilities, green campus, etc.). After that, the students enjoyed a tea-break that prepared by FPT University and FPT Software.
Following the program, the representative of FPT University, Ms. Vu Thi Phuong Thao – Head of Corporate Relations and Alumni had a very special introduction about the OJT program.
At the end of the program, students will listen to Mr. Le Hong Quan – Internship leader of FPT Academy as well as K7 FPTU Alumni share about the internship program at FPT Software.
For FPT University students, the internship is a “golden” time to experience the real working environment not only in Vietnam but also going abroad with many destinations.
The greatest approach for students to obtain experience in their chosen industry is through internship time. In especially, the internship procedure is quite similar to the onboarding process for new employees at the business. The interns will collaborate with other staff to gain working experiences.
Corporate internships are more than just a way for students to learn about and experience the working environment. If students genuinely put what they learn into practice, the rewards from the corporate internship program they receive will be more than you could imagine. Students have the chance to examine the daily operations of a firm, as well as its culture and working environment, during a business internship.
At FPT University, the corporate internship takes place in the 3rd year and lasts from 6 to 8 months at large domestic and foreign enterprises. This is one of the “gates” that every FPT University student has to go through before doing their graduation project.
The actual working environment at enterprises will help students gain new knowledge, which is far different from the knowledge that students themselves acquire while sitting in school.
