The FPTU HCM Kanji Talent Competition is the first Kanji competition organized at FPT University HCMC. With enticing prizes and exciting rounds, the Kanji Talent competition provides a beneficial platform for students to enhance and develop their Kanji skills. Particularly, there will be cultural performances by students studying Japanese and Chinese languages between rounds.
The competition consists of 3 main rounds and 1 reserve round: Round 1: Kanji classification by theme Round 2: Kanji guessing game Round 3: Guessing Kanji through different writing styles Reserve round (if there are multiple players with the same score): Determining the winner through a fun quiz.

📖 Competition information: 📍Participants: All students who are currently studying or have studied Japanese or Chinese at FPT University HCMC at the elementary level. 📍Competition time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 25, 2022. 📍Venue: Hall B, FPT University HCMC. 🎁 Competition prizes: Total prize value up to 2,000,000 VND
- 01 First Prize with the title “Golden Frog Kanji”: 1,000,000 VND/prize
- 01 Second Prize with the title “Silver Frog Kanji”: 500,000 VND/prize
- 02 Encouragement Prizes with the title “Bronze Frog Kanji”: 250,000 VND/prize
During their studies at FPT University, in addition to English, students are equipped with a second foreign language, either Chinese (for Economics majors) or Japanese (for Engineering majors).
Upon graduation from FPT University, students need not worry about employment opportunities with their language proficiency and the knowledge and skills they have acquired. Academic activities related to foreign languages are always emphasized and promoted at FPT University. Annually, the university organizes various competitions for students who love foreign languages such as English, Japanese, Chinese, with prize values of up to hundreds of millions of Vietnamese dong.
Moreover, to help students achieve good results in language learning, the university regularly organizes talk shows, meetings with speakers, experts, and models of language clubs.
