Global Pathways – Your Route to University in Australia

On July 28, FPT Education Global recently held a webinar namely “Global Pathways – Your Route to University in Australia”, concentrating on IT and Business students with the participation of 4 university partners from Australia including Swinburne University of Technology, DEAKIN University, University of Technology Sydney and Torrens University.

The event attracted 30 FPTU students from different campuses (Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City) to attend, introducing the transfer opportunities to Australian university partners include insights into Australian universities, course exemptions and credit transfer, and available scholarship information.

In addition, the webinar was also honored to welcome representatives from 4 university partners who are Prof. James Roffee – Dean, Global Education (Interim) and Ms. Nhu Nguyen – Country Manager, Swinburne University of Technology; Ms. Thu Nguyen Vo – Country Manager of Vietnam and Cambodia, DEAKIN University; Presentation by Mr. Alex Ma – International Pathways Coordinator, University of Technology Sydney; and Ms. Sonia Phuong Doan – Area Manager Vietnam – North, Torrens University.

Speaking at the opening speech, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hien – Dean at FPT Education Global has sent special thanks to partners and students for joining the event. She also highlighted the regret that the event had taken place online due to Covid-19 that students and partners could not meet face-to-face. However, she believed that this would be a great opportunity for students to get information and take careful consideration about studying abroad. “I would like to say with our students that please ask more questions to get more information and make wiser decisions,” she said.

During the webinar, students were so excited while they were watching video clips shared by partners. They were impressed by the campus facilities of Australian universities.

Students also revealed their many interests in the transfer opportunities to a range of prestigious Australian university partners by asking a lot of questions to our guest speakers. In addition to the Pathways opportunities, students felt interested in a Master’s degree with available scholarships offered by the participating universities.

FPT Education Global really hopes that the webinar has brought useful information for students. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact our admission for further support!
