This is the first time the FIRST Tech Challenge has been officially held in Vietnam. FIRST® Tech Challenge is an international technology tournament for youth from more than 40 countries around the world. The 2019–2020 season has nearly 700.000 contestants from more than 100 different countries. Copyrighted by FIRST in the US, the FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam is a technology tournament throughout Vietnam to select a champion to participate in the FIRST Tech Challenge in the US in 2024.

The theme of the FIRST Tech Challenge is “CENTERSTAGE” — the  role of STEM in the fields of art, creativity, and entertainment — while raising awareness about the interdisciplinary nature of the arts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

In particular, the winning team of the FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam will be fully sponsored for kits, air tickets, participation fees, and accommodation to participate in the FIRST Tech Challenge championship in the US in April 2024. Besides, the competition also has many other awards for excellent teams.

This is a great opportunity for impecunious students to become contenders at the FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam Regional Finals and the FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship in the US. Contestants can also experience an international environment and meet young talents from all over the world!

Pioneered and led by FPT University, with the support of the FIRST Vietnam and global FIRST communities, the FIRST Tech Challenge Vietnam would be an opportunity not to be missed for students nationwide.
