FPT University’s Sustainability Report 2022

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development were adopted by world leaders in September 2015 at an historic United Nation (UN) Summit as a universal call to action for a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable world. The second year of recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic has posed many challenging questions and requirements for humanity. Especially, universities need to clearly define their role in this context.
Over the past years, FPT University (FPTU) along with other universities has committed to contributing to the UN’s SDGs. Therefore, SDGs are included in our strategies, policies, and action plans.
FPTU listed in the top 601-800 of THE Impact Rankings 2023 (published by Times Higher Education) for its contributions to the UN’s SDGs, which was a recognition of our efforts in our second year participating in this ranking.
The annual Sustainable Development Goals report 2022 is a publication of FPTU on the activities to promote the implementation of the UNs’ SDGs made by all faculty, staff, and students from its 5 campuses, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho, Quy Nhon. The report is structured to the 17 SDGs with highlighted statistics and activities. It also includes important information about the university’s updated policies toward the topic of SDGs. In the context of global sustainable development, the report emphasizes one of the university’s missions “Social Responsibility” as our slogan “FPT University for the community”.
